This Artwork, from the Elements Series, (Small Format), is an Abstract Expressionism Conceptual Art showing Water and Fire in the form of Rain falling over a Campfire. It is a mixed media technique that uses acrylic paint, crackle medium, and resin. Worked on a 48 in. by 36 in. stretched gallery canvas, with sides, (edges) carefully worked all around. As in every Artwork, the depth and figure are of most importance to achieve movement and a tridimensional reality. The wind and depth in the Painting is manifested by the movement of the branches, and the burning action in the sticks and marshmallows.
