Inspired in Boticelli's Birth of Venus face of the Venus itself, it is highly intended to reflect the example of beauty as known on the character of Venus. And it is the Medusa turned into a Venus as already recovered from the curse and regained her beauty. That's the reason of the hair, shown like waves with pearls entangled on it; the face showing a secure attitude, the relaxed expression in her eyes; and everything surrounded by colors. The frame is integrated to the Artwork showing the color coordinated with the image, in a Baroque style too as in a play with the Venus Medusa's hair. This version is worked on a high-quality canvas giclée from a previous Artwork, by the same Artist, but turned into a complete original and a new and different Painting, achieving accurately the intention of regaining beauty.
In a mixed media using acrylic paint, inks, sand, art resin, the Artwork is rich in texture as well, and alive shown through colors.
